Project Overview

The Challenge & Opportunity

Growing Shopify merchants often juggle disconnected spreadsheets, native admin panels, and third-party tools to track inventory, fulfill orders, and monitor expenses. StockPulse Hub consolidates these workflows into a single operational command center—syncing catalog data, purchase records, and sales activity from Shopify while surfacing actionable analytics in real time.

Business Goals

  • Sync products, orders, stock levels, and purchases from Shopify automatically
  • Give merchants a unified dashboard for sales performance and inventory health
  • Enable streamlined expense tracking alongside operational data
  • Deliver real-time updates across teams without manual refreshes
  • Reduce stockouts and overselling through accurate inventory visibility

Challenges

  • Shopify webhook volume and rate limits during high-traffic sales periods
  • Keeping stock counts consistent across variants, locations, and purchase orders
  • Combining operational metrics with expense data in a single analytics view
  • Designing a dashboard that scales from solo sellers to multi-location stores

Our Solution

We built a NestJS and React SaaS platform with deep Shopify API integration, webhook-driven sync pipelines, and Redis-backed caching and job processing. Merchants connect their store in minutes, after which products, orders, inventory adjustments, and purchases flow into a centralized hub. TypeORM powers the PostgreSQL data layer, while Render Cloud hosts the platform for reliable, scalable deployment.
